Devon Sawa, Matthew Lawrence and Sanoe Lake have signed on to star in the horror/ sci-fi indie "Hunter's Moon" for Stouffer Entertainment.
The story centers on a man (Sawa) who dreams that he and his friends will die at the hands of a brutal, otherworldly creature. Fernanda Romero, Dan White, Siena Goines, Kevin Alejandro, Jennifer Howie and Ryan Judd round out the cast.
Mark Stouffer is writer, director and producer of the film, which is executive produced by Mark Litwak and Jay Sedrish. Wendy Winks is co-producing.
Shooting began this week near Los Angeles.
"Moon" is the first in a slate of Stouffer Entertainment horror films to be produced with budgets less than $5 million. Next up is "Murder House," which begins casting early next year.
Sawa, whose credits include "Final Destination" and "Slackers," played Mark Stouffer in Warner Bros. Pictures/Morgan Creek's "Wild America." He is repped by the Gersh Agency. Lawrence ("The Hot Chick") is repped by Innovative Artists and Kass & Stokes, and Lake ("Blue Crush") is repped by Jet Set Management Group. |
