CREATURE OF DARKNESS

Storyline: A young man is haunted by the reoccurring nightmare that he and a group of friends will die a horrible death in the desert. The nightmare began when he was a boy, with stories told to him by his Uncle, an Air Force pilot who warned of a hostile alien coming to Earth to undertake a gruesome human harvest.

The young man’s friend is a psychology major who convinces him the only way to conquer his fear is to confront it head-on. When they invite a group of friends for radical, off-road cycling in remote terrain, no one knows they are being dragged to the time and place the nightmare unfolds. As sunset plunges them into darkness, the dreadful dream turns real. They are attacked by the Catcher, a skilled and brutal collector of human specimens for alien science.

The group is no match for the deft hunter, and it picks its victims, taking them into an underground catacomb for gruesome study. When the young man’s girlfriend is seized, he is forced to confront his ultimate fear, and face the terror of tracking her into the unknown horror below.
