Storyline: Monkeypox. SARS. Bird flu. For years we’ve been warned of the dangers of a virus jumping from some animal species over to man, in a form mutated to infect and perhaps kill millions. Stringent controls are in place to keep this sort of thing from happening and, for the most part, it’s been effective. Until now. Because there’s another kind of virus on the rampage. An electronic virus. Like the kind that can infect your computer. And when this virus – this video virus – makes the leap from TV to viewer, it gives a whole new meaning to “don’t touch that dial!”
